Now we're in the middle of summer, it's time for a turnaround in our collection as to what colors to wear. Read through to see what I've been loving lately!

Although I do consider myself a lipstick junkie, lately I’ve been slowing down on buying and wearing them, instead going for colors that I bought way back when and abandoned as soon as I got new ones.

I’m still in the process of cutting down what formulas and colors I buy, but I thought I’d do a little updated “what I’ve been loving” post.

I’ve wanted to get this lipstick for so long. I remember hearing that it went on sale for half the price ($10) but when I tried to look for it at my local Ulta, the shade wasn’t there, so I thought it was completely out of stock and my dreams were dead.

Alas, scrolling through the Urban Decay website I realized they still had it! (I know, kinda slow on my part)

I love, love, love this formula. It’s soft and gives a light, glossy sheen that looks natural on the lips. Liar in particular is a MLBB color, which adds even more to it. To me, it’s like that extra step that makes you look put together without the boldness of a red.

I talked about this in my mini Colourpop haul video, and even though it’s a newer addition to my lipstick collection, I’ve been wearing it every chance since.

The creme formula feels lightweight and soft on the lips, and the color isn’t like any of the pinks I already have.

I’m a little sad that the tip broke off, especially since that hasn’t happened to me with any of my other lippie stix, including the other creme formula I got, but at least I can still use it.

Although Creamsicle was not my first choice of color, I’ve learned with the sheerness of this product, color isn’t a big deal. Mainly, I use this as a lip topper, specifically for my pinker lipsticks, since Creamsicle is still a light pink color.

I love the minty fresh feeling it leaves on my lips, no matter how long I wear this product. I know the tingling sensation is related to the whole “lip plumping” properties this lip products advertises, but there haven’t been any changes to my lips in that department.

I’m not disappointed because even though it’s technically what this product is for, I kind of figured I wouldn’t see results.

If you’ve read my Sephora kits haul or my first impressions post, this has been on my blog lately.

While it’s not the most long lasting product, the red, natural looking tint it leaves on my lips more than makes up for it. It gives your lips a pop of color without making anyone think that you actually have something on.

It also has SPF 40 which is awesome, especially as we’re in the dead of summer now. Plus, it’s so convenient to carry around in your purse, being multifunctional (lip and cheek) and travel sized.
